because作连词，后跟句子，是主句的直接原因。
Because he is ill, he isn’t here today. 因为他病了，所以他今天不在这里。 because of是介词短语，后面不能接从句，后接名词、代词或动名词。 但两者有时可以互换。
Because he is ill, he isn’t here today. = Because of his illness, he isn’t here today.
三、句式精讲
1、 too…to…
（1）too…to句型，形式上是肯定的，但表达否定意义，意为“太…而不能…”。too后接形容词或副词的原级，to后接动词不定式。
He is too young to go to school. 他太小了而不能去上学。
（2）too…to…表否定意义时，可与so…that…或not enough to互换。 1）too…to…结构同so…that结构的互换。
too…to…结构是一个简单句；而so…that是一个复合句，so后接形容词或副词，that后接从句。转换时that后的从句要用否定形式。
The man is too old to go to work. = The man is so old that he can’t go to work. 这个人岁数太大，不能去工作了。
2）too…to…结构同not…enough to…结构的互换。enough前的形容词或副词必须与too后的形容词或副词意义相反。
The box is too heavy for him to lift. = The box is not light enough for him to lift.这个盒子太重了，他拿不
动。
（3）too…to…句型在以下三种情况下表达肯定意义。
1）当too前有not；never；nothing等表示否定意义的词时，too…to…就不表示否定意义。 One is never too old to learn. 活到老，学到老。
2）如果too…to…结构前出现了only，则加强肯定语气，就无否定意义了。only too相当于very或very much。
I shall be only too pleased to go home. 我将非常高兴地回家。
3）当too后有sad；happy；glad；pleased等表示情感的形容词，则表示肯定意义。 He is too sad to hear the story. 听到这个故事，他感到太伤心了。 2、 learn to do sth.
learn to do sth.意为“学会做某事”。learn表示模仿、实践的学习过程，尤指从不会到会。 He learned to swim when he was five years old.

（1）learn sth. by heart意为“背诵某东西”。
You need to learn this poem by heart. 你们需要背诵这首诗。 （2）learn from…意为“向…学习”或“从…获得知识”。

see sb. do sth. 意为“看见某人做某事”，可表示看见动作全过程或习惯性。do是省去不定式符号to的动词原形，在这里做宾语补足语。

（1）see sb. doing sth. 意为“看见某人正在做某事”，表示动作正在进行。 I saw him walking in the street. 我看见他在街上散步。
（2）与see用法类似的，可用不带to的不定式做宾语补足语的动词主要为感官动词或使役动词，可把这些词总结为“一感（feel），二听（hear、listen to），三让（let、have、make），四看（see、watch、notice、observe、look at），半帮助（help）”。

1、 practice
practice作动词时，其后一般用名词、代词或动名词等形式作宾语。 He practices speaking English every day. 他每天练习讲英语。 【拓展】
后接动名词作宾语的动词有：
完成、实践、值得、忙（finish、practice、be worth、be busy） 继续、习惯、别放弃（keep on、be used to、give up）
考虑、建议、不禁、想（consider、suggest、can’t help、feel like） 喜欢、思念、要介意（enjoy、miss、mind） 2、 move
move的用法比较多，现总结如下：
（1）move可作及物动词，意为“移动、搬动、使改变位置（或姿势）”。 He moved the sofa to the left. 他把沙发移到左边。 （2）move作及物动词，还可意为“感动、鼓动、激动”。
