1. The filing cabinets you require are now available from stock. We will deliver in our own

transport on 19 August. Please advise if they are needed more urgently. You could arrange collection by your own carrier if desired.

2. I am sorry to tell you that we can only send half of the computer paper that you ordered,

which was delivered yesterday. This is because of the supplier’s problem. We will deliver the rest to you immediately when we get supply form the factory.

3. Please note our water supply will be turned off tomorrow between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon.

Staff may go to the toilet in the reception hall on the ground floor. We apologize for any inconvenience that may cause.

4. We need 2 normal bags of computer paper for the duplication of materials used in the new

staff-training programme. We need them before this Friday, 14 October. Can you manage it? The maximum you can spend is $ 20.

5. To: all graphic staff,

Sales have fallen recently because, although our packaging is functional, it is unattractive. I think we should develop new and appealing designs. Could you please attend a meeting in the boardroom at 10:00 am tomorrow to discuss this matter?

There are eight vacancies on training courses being given in May and June. The courses provide useful training for junior staff in computers, time management and other aspects of modern office work. Could you kindly recommend suitable staff?

7. I have recently received some complaints about the quality of our shirts from the retailers.

They should be carefully dealt with. If a retailer finds our shirts unsatisfactory, we should collect and replace them without delay. Please make sure this is carried out.
