As we all know, as one of the most influential ancient philosophers in China, Zhuangzi is also regarded as one of the leading figures of Taoism. When his close friend, Huize, tells him that he has broken up the large gourd because he thinks it would be too heavy to lift if it is used to hold liquid, and it would be too fat when it is cut in half for ladles. Though it is a large gourd, it has been broken because it is thought to be useless. Zhuangzi is very angry after hearing this. Because the gourd is as big as a five bushel measure, it can be well used to make a float, and then, they can float to the places where they want to go over river and lake. Quite unfortunately, it has

been broken up by Huize. Let us imagine, if Huize’s knowledge on the use of the gourd is not limited to holding liquids or making ladles, the large can be better used to make things for people, such as a float. Now let’s come back to our topic about learning. Yes, we need to learn. By learning, we can know more about the things around us and understand more about our world.
