Synthesis Technology Design for Synthetic methanol of 5000t/a

Abstract On the basis of reading a large amount of literature, the technology

design for producing methanol of 5000t/a has carried out in this paper. In allusion to the combination methanol system of methanol synthesis used in this paper, not only the material balance and the energy balance of the whole synthesis section are calculated, but also the main furnace equipment ¨Cthree tube reactor of methanol synthesis are calculated. This paper analyzed the feasibility and economic significance, the methanol synthesizing process route is through gasification of coal, of which the main raw material is coal. Besides, the choice of technical process and economic accounting for all the synthesis section, layout, safety of environment and some other projects are discussed.
